Travel photography is my passion.

 

 I try to go on at least one or two

“trips of a lifetime” every year.  I am very much into recording the people, places, wildlife and other photogenic material wherever we go.  Some of these people, animals and customs are under significant pressure from the modern world.  I hope that my images will preserve what we have been privileged to see and show some of the things that the world is in danger of losing forever.

 

When not traveling to the far corners of the world, I hone my skills closer to home.  I take the same types of images as I do when I am traveling, but also do some shooting in my home studio.  I also spend some time in the "digital darkroom" creating whimsical photocomposites.
